Diamond Incision

Cellulite Treatment and Skin Firming in Tunisia

Dr Anas Gherissi, trained directly by the technique's creator, Dr Dario Martusciello, offers the Diamond Incision® in Tunis: an innovative biostimulation protocol that treats cellulite at its root, fills skin irregularities and firms the skin durably. Not major surgery, not a superficial treatment - a precise medical approach that acts on both the structure and biology of the skin.

What Is the Diamond Incision®?

The Diamond Incision® is a minimally invasive medical technique combining two complementary actions on the skin.

A mechanical action: releasing the retraction fibres responsible for dimples and surface irregularities (cellulite, orange-peel skin, post-liposuction fibrosis). A biological action: injection of a collagen biostimulant at both superficial and deep levels, triggering the synthesis of new collagen and progressively improving skin quality, density and texture.

The result is a comprehensive treatment of cellulite, skin laxity and uneven surfaces, with effects that build progressively and last over time.

Who Is the Diamond Incision® For?

The Diamond Incision® is indicated for patients wishing to treat:

Cellulite resistant to diet and exercise (dimples, orange-peel skin on the buttocks, thighs, hips). Skin laxity or sagging skin after weight loss, pregnancy or liposuction. Surface irregularities: post-operative fibrosis, uneven skin following liposuction. An overall improvement in skin quality at a deep level.

Advantages of the Diamond Incision®

No major surgery - the procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, on an outpatient basis. Recovery is fast. Dual action - immediate treatment of dimples and progressive collagen regeneration over time. Natural, progressive results - improvement builds over 2 months after each session, with no frozen appearance and no visible scarring. Can be combined with liposuction - if liposuction is indicated, the Diamond Incision® can be performed several months later, once healing is complete. The two procedures are never carried out at the same time. Easy maintenance — a single annual touch-up session is all that is needed to maintain the achieved effect.

The Diamond Incision® Protocol in Detail

The complete treatment spans 3 sessions spaced 2 to 3 months apart, all performed under local anaesthesia on an outpatient basis.

  • Session 1 - The Main Session

The most important session. Dr Gherissi injects a significant quantity of biostimulant at both superficial and deep levels across the target zones (buttocks, thighs, hips, abdomen as applicable). This first session lays the foundation for skin regeneration.

  • Sessions 2 and 3 - Consolidation Sessions

Carried out 2 to 3 months after the previous session, using approximately half the product quantity of the first session. They refine the smoothing effect, consolidate collagen stimulation and optimise the final result.

  • Annual Maintenance

After the 3-session cycle, a single annual touch-up session is sufficient to maintain results long-term.

Procedure and Post-Treatment Care

  • During the Procedure
The Diamond Incision® is performed under local anaesthesia, in the clinic, without hospitalisation. The patient goes home the same day.
  • Immediately After the Procedure

Compressive adhesive bandages are applied over the treated areas to prevent haematoma and seroma. An absorbent dressing is placed to collect fluid from the local anaesthetic infiltration. The patient wears a compression garment (shorts) for 15 days.

  • During the First 5 Days

The patient may change the dressing if soiled by fluids, but must keep the adhesive bandages in place. After 5 days, the patient showers, removes the adhesive bandages and begins specific massages according to the protocol provided (video available).

  • Post-Procedure Treatment

The patient follows a prescription of antibiotics + anti-inflammatories + Arnica (gel and granules) to limit swelling and prevent any infection risk.

  • Post-Procedure Massage Protocol - 5×5×5

To prevent nodule formation in the injected areas, the patient performs massages following the 5 × 5 × 5 rule: 5 minutes, 5 times per day, for 5 days. If persistent nodules develop in the buttocks or thighs, a maderoterapia session with a physiotherapist may be considered.

Side Effects and Expected Results

  • Side Effects

The only side effects of the Diamond Incision® are oedema (swelling) and bruising, which are normal and resolve progressively over the first two weeks following the procedure.

  • Results

The biostimulant effect is progressive: new collagen synthesis builds gradually at both superficial and deep levels. The optimal result is visible 2 months after the procedure, with a marked improvement in skin quality and texture, filling of cellulite dimples and overall firming of the treated areas.

Pricing and Personalised Quote

The cost of Diamond Incision® treatment varies according to the number of areas treated (buttocks, thighs, hips, abdomen...) and the quantity of biostimulant used, determined during the consultation. Sessions 2 and 3 are less expensive than the first, as they require approximately half the product.
